Finding Babysitters

Postby busymom on Thu Mar 08, 2007 6:42 pm

Just wondering if anyone has suggestions for finding babysitters.

We recently moved to the Eastside area from Canada and would like some babysitters to help watch the kids so I can unpack, and get chores done. We have many extra tasks related to moving to a new country and have no family in the area. I tried calling the local high school a block away, but they will not post any jobs that are in a house.

Thanks

I am an Eastside mom who just launched http://www.sitterscout.com to help moms like you find a babysitter when they need one. Any local moms are invited to be part of the free Beta. There are some great UW sitters on the site!

Hi All,

I'm a Seattle mom who is also a Seattle nanny. I just launched NannyInSeattle.com which helps parents find a babysitter or a nanny very fast in Seattle. Simply type your zip code into the search bar and a long list of qualified nannies will display for you. You can browse each nanny free of charge, get reviews of them, narrow your search based on your needs, and even get 50 state background checks! I hope the site helps!

Thanks!
