Well I'm going to have disagree on Piecora's

Postby warnerms on Fri Feb 16, 2007 11:14 am

Piecora'a The first couple of times we went there, the pizza was great. But it really seems to be hit or miss. The third and fifth time I swear we got food poisoning from under cooked sausage.
Even our 4 year old (at the time) had diarrhea that evening and the entire next day. Yeah it can be good, but you really take your chances with this one. I hope others have had a better time after eating there, but I give them a thumbs down for lack of consistency, and giving three of us diarrhea for 2 days on our last visit. Not going back anytime soon!!

More kid friendly places in Capitol Hill

Postby ruthie on Wed Feb 28, 2007 1:47 am

There is a new tea shop on 15th in Capitol Hill called Remedy Teas. It is a great place and they have a small, but nice play area inside that occupied the three year old I was watching for almost a half an hour.
Another place is My Coffeehouse on Madison, at around 28th (?). It is totally designed for kids and has a lots of play space. It is really more in Madison Valley though.

Well we tried VIOS tonight, and it is definately kid friendly. The play area is a walled off corner of the resturant in the back with a good assortment play items: minature kitchen, duplo blocks, books, ... So far the most kid friendly setup I have seen in a Seattle Resturant.
The food was excellant, but the portions were on the minute side. So minute in fact that it took less then 4 minutes to eat my entire dinner. Not a good bet for your dining dollars if your actually hungry, but fine for a light dinner.

I agree, I love Vios

But definitely more of a good lunch place than a good dinner place.
