Welcome to Seattle-Moms.com. Seattle-Moms.com is intended to be a parenting resource by Seattle Parents for Seattle Parents, where Seattle Parents can share their parenting experiences, concerns, advice, reviews, and tips. Some may ask why Seattle-Moms.com for a parenting forum (yes Dads are welcome too, and I'm a Dad)?
Short answer, SeattleParents.com was not available! Our second choice was the nonhyphenated version, SeattleMoms.com, but the current owner wanted mid $XXXX which we found prohibitively expensive for a niche site.

Any feedback to improve the utility of this Website is greatly appreciated.The site is live, so do feel free to register and post. We do not wish to provide so much information that the site is impractical in use, or so little that it is of little use. We will strive for balance, so please let us know what you think of the current Categories/Forums? This is the first cut, and Categories/Forums may change depending on feedback received. All information posted will be retained on the site, but may at some point be shifted around if a different/new category/forum is more appropriate.

Currently the registration process is straight foward, but we may be forced to move to an email verification process shortly, due to increasing porn/drug related spam post. We have been removing these type of post as soon as we notice them. Please feel free to email or PM(Private Message) smadmin about any spam post in need of removal.

Advertisers/Sponsors: The current Advertisers have a one month free ad. We contacted a number of child/parent related businesses/services, and the current Advertisers were the first to respond. In consideration of those Members still using slower internet connections, space for Ads will be limited to two. The regular ad rate shall be $100 per month. If you wish to be a primary sponsor for Seattle-Moms.com, the ad rate is $1000/year. Ads need to be 100 pixels in width by 150 pixels in height. Since our ad space is limited, in the interest of fairness preference for subsequent month ads will be given to new businesses that have not yet had the opportunity to advertise on Seattle-Moms.com. If there are no new businesses interested in advertising, previous advertisers may rerun their Ad. If your child/parent related business is interested in running an ad please PM, or email smadmin.

Since we were not able to find sufficient local businesses interested in advertising on this site, we are currently running Google Ads.
